There are many things that Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) Chief Executive Officer, believes in strongly, and there is no question that on of those is education. Paul Mengert majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina (in Greensboro, of course). Then, in 1990, Paul Mengert earned a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) certification. If that isn’t enough, he also graduated Harvard Business School in 2005. He has also served on the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute.

The second important thing Paul Mengert is dedicated to give back to his community. That is, after all, why he established AMG in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina back in 1984. That is where he has spent almost his entire life. For Paul Mengert, AMG is only part of his life; he also serves as President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. From there, he teaches classes to homeowner's associations; classes that have been approved for continuing education credits by organizations nationwide, such as the North Carolina Board of Realtors, the South Carolina Department of Real Estate, and even the California Department of Real Estate.
